Hello my loves. I thought we could all use a little pick-me-up today as the weather in England has been decidedly grey and rainy and very Autumnal, which I love, but has also made me feel a need for softness and a cosy, warm embrace. London does this for me.

Looking up

Autumn days in London are changeable and flighty with bursts of fresh blue skies and bright yellow sunshine that arenโ€™t quite yet Winter-crisp. Let’s take an amble through some of my favourite places to get us in the mood for this new season.

I am feeling particularly grateful today for the beauty I am blessed to have around me, my friends and family, my health, the pot of rose petal tea Iโ€™ve just brewed and the snacks I picked up from the local corner shop. What are some of the things youโ€™re most grateful for lately?

Take a deep breath, close your eyes, breathe out and reflect. Try to list five things. I often find this gives me a little boost when Iโ€™m feeling down.

Perhaps, like me, you are also looking forward to the earlier, darker nights? I find it sometimes takes only a little moment of gratitude to rest and refresh the mind…
